Thank you so much Diane for sharing this with us. I know that sometimes I (as most of us probably do) take my situation for granted and forget that there are so many others who don't have enough food to eat, don't have proper clothes to wear, and don't even have a bed to sleep in.

My husband and I have been behind the proverbial "financial 8-ball" for years now. More expenses than income most months, but we've been making it -- struggling, but making it. About six months ago, I started tithing 10% of my paycheck right off the top and set it aside for my monthly offerings to my church. (If you haven't read it yet--please read my post under "Inspirations, etc." about my children getting baptized this past Sunday--it's awesome!!) Anyway, after starting this 10% tithing rule for myself, I have found that I CAN pay my monthly bills more comfortably now. I could give you many examples of mysterious events that have happened to me financially over the past six months and the only thing I can attribute it to is giving to God first, and then he provides the rest. As long as we keep Him at the #1 position, he will never forsake us.
Have a great day everyone!!!!
