Kids and renovations are my life!

Congrats on the upcoming trip to Ireland! I'm hugely jealous! That's my dream someday! So "Yes" please take lots of pics and tell me the best spots to go!
I plan to research some of my family's history when I go!
Do you stay with family when you go?

Lippie, I'm no where near ready for the BBQ!  :gah: That's today's task! Plus we also have to go to my niece's 1st Birthday party today too! So double  :gah: :gah: :gah:
Ahh we'll get it all done somehow! Hmmm perhaps I should get my butt off the computer???  :teehee:

Julie, you may want to consider keeping a travel diary to go with the pic's?  You could jot down what you did each day & share as much (or little) as you wanted, but it would be really nice to have that along with your pics to put together when you get back?

This is my first trip. Hopefully the first in a series.  we're going on a tour because I'll only have a week. (brithday week LOL  cake) That way, transportation is included and I will get to see a lot! I went to Israel and Turkey on a tour and it was awesome. I would highly recommend that if you want to visit a foreign country. You will have a bus or van to drive you around so you won't get lost and you can feel free to have a glass of wine if you want. And they will plan your itinerary so you can maximize your time there. It's so much easier than trying to plan your route through strange cities and you can get a much better deal than paying for everything separately. Oh, and you don't have to remember which side of the road to drive on. That's a biggie for those of us who are slightly dyslexic.  :teehee:

I would love to find my family. My aunt did our whole family tree a few years ago. I am hoping to find some information if not actual people when I am there. Unfortunately, the names are fairly common on both sides so it might take some work. That will give me a good excuse to go back again.

A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition.

Your trip will be an unforgettable memory, going back to your ancestors homeland!  How fun...but we will definitely miss you around here!

Goldie, you are not allowed to go anywhere...we would miss you too!

OK, if you have a really exciting trip planned and you're going to have fun, we might let you go if you promise to hurry back!

I know. It's terrible how a week of vacation seems half as long as a regular week. So unfair.

I know, huh? It's like we enter a time warp as soon as we start doing something fun.

What's he doing in England?  Does he have a dangerous job?
