How did you get your cats from England?  Did they have to be quarrantined?  Were you on vacation or did you used to live there?

What's he doing in England?  Does he have a dangerous job?

His dad was in the US Air Force and was stationed over there when he was still a boy. His mom was British so they stayed over in England.

His job can be dangerous. I know I worry alot about him. He works in IT and the company he works for does contract work for the government; so he has to travel alot. There are times when I get to talk to him a few times a day and then there are times when we can't speak for weeks. Internet still sucks over there in some of the places he has to travel to and because I only have my cell phone, he has to use a pay phone in order to call me.

Do you remember when the bombings happened in London a few years back? The one that happened on one of the buses? He was in London for work and was around the corner from where it happened. I heard over the news about it happening and all I could think was "Please God, let him be alright"

I'm happy to say that we will be getting married next year.  :yays:

It is a romantic story!   Love  Well I will pray that he continues to be safe and that you will be in contact more frequently so it will put your mind at ease.

Will you live in England after you are married? What kind of work do you do, besides the singing, or is that your primary job?

Well right now I'm worry free, I know this will sound bad, but I am because he was in a car accident a few weeks ago. He broke his leg and can't go back to work until it's healed up.  :doh

I will be living in England after we get married.

I wish my singing was my only job but right now it doesn't pay the bills....more likes makes them right now, everything is stuck on hold until I can afford a new recording mic. Mine is old and no longer picks up the sounds right.  :gah:  I work for a restaurant right now doing deliveries. I actually start tomorrow. And then once I have the money, I start recording in a real studio... :yays:

Thank you guys. I never really thought it was romantic but now that I look back at everything it kinda reminds me of Romeo and Juliet....except we're to old to be considered teenagers and would never kill ourselves

Politely butting out. :)

Wow, no new posts here since July...  I was feeling grateful so I thought I'd post it.  E-K, how are things now?

Well, I was gathering books, movies, and other media for teaching and was amazed at how much of my (long) list the local library system has.  It would cost me a small fortune to have to purchase it all, so I am really grateful for the resources the library provides, music included.  I've been checking out music too for the kids, I never knew they had it there!  Anyhow, I know this sounds nerdy blushing, but after spending an hour online filling 'carts' with books and then clicking 'delete' after seeing the totals, I really am thankful for the public library.

No posts here in months. My fault! Bad me.

I'm grateful for my health every day. Without it, nothing is good.

Thanks, RTP and LJ for resurrecting this topic.  I am thankful for so much but most of all those that love me in spite of my many faults!  I am ever so grateful to have loved ones especially this time of year when so many people are alone and lonely!

I'm grateful for everyone in my life (my parents, grandparents, you ladies, my friends and my darling ex-fiance...who I might get back together with...dunno) Life is going back to normal slowly now that Christmas is over. I'm grateful for the days off that I am getting and for the small vacation that I am getting soon.

I am grateful that I have such a wonderful husband and son and that I had a whole year to grow closer to my in-laws before we had to move (even if my hubby couldn't find work and we had hard times--it was worth it!)!  That leads to the other thing I am grateful for--my husband's new job!

I'm grateful for my family.  Also that God gives a new opportunity everyday to make things right.
