I had heard that cotton seed oil was not good for you, but finally found info on why!

I can not eat anything with it in it, because I don't have a Gall Bladder any more and I don't process it right, but everyone else, BEWARE!!!!!!!!

Read this link  http://newconnexion.net/article/05-04/cottonseed.html  also wikapedia has info too. check it out.

This just irks me sooooooooo much! We really need to put our foot down and stop buying this crap, so the rich can get richer!!!!!!!!!!

WWIT, that was a real eye opener.  That should keep me off potato chips and snack food.  I am definitely reading the labels from now on!

I think the kettle chips are usually fried in peanut oil aren't they?  I might be wrong, but I think that is where they get their distinctive taste from...I'll have to check that out, but it could vary from brand to brand too.

Thanks for the link!   :ty:

One more nasty, cheap product for our food supply! Eeewww!

I like the idea if an ingredient doesn't taste good on its own it has no business in my kitchen and I won't cook with it (ie shortening).

WWIT has shown another good reason to avoid heavily processed foods!

Here to good old fashioned cooking practices! :yays:
