Here is part of the email that I received I had no idea about this!

Ovarian cancer whispers - so listen... Watch for pelvic or abdominal pain or discomfort; vague but persistent gastrointestinal upsets such as gas, nausea, and indigestion; frequency and/or urgency of urination in the absence of an infection; unexplained weight gain or weight loss; pelvic and/or abdominal swelling; bloating and/or feeling of fullness; ongoing unusual fatigue; or unexplained changes in bowel habits. If symptoms persist for more than two weeks, ask your doctor for a combination pelvic/rectal exam, CA-125 blood test, and transvaginal ultrasound.

Thanks so much for sharing this!

I have a good friend that was diagnosed with ovarian cancer a few years ago (it was removed and she's in remission, praise God!) and it was very scary because 1) it's cancer and 2) she lost the ability to have children in the future. It's so scary that it can be so silent and so harmful, so please ladies get your regular check-ups and listen to your bodies!

For those of you with bigger boobies, it is easy!!   giggle  It is those of us with the little ones that have a time getting them squished in there...

My Mother had breast cancer at 31 and again at 34, so I have been getting yearly mammograms since I was 30.  Nine years and so far no cancer!   cancan

All kidding aside, its just so easy to do and really does not hurt. Its not fun but when you get a good report, its just so much easier to take care of the family when you know you are taking care of yourself.
