Just wanted to mention this briefly since it was brought to my attention.

Crossposting is the act of posting the same message to multiple forums, mailing lists, or newsgroups. Cross posting is considered bad "netiquette" because it multiplies traffic without adding any fresh or unique content. It is also something that is addressed in the forum rules.

Every community has its own personality and feel that makes it unique. When the same content is repeated over numerous groups, it becomes, well...repetitive if not boring.

We're all members of lots of different groups online. I would ask that your discussions and the things you share in those groups be unique contributions of you and your personality. In that way, you are truly engaged and an active part of the group, not just copying the same thing.
