Karma is a privilege you receive once you've posted a set number of times.  Karma allows you to praise, encourage or reward people on the board for things they say and do.  Of course, you can dock karma when you don't agree with people as well or when they do bonehead things.   giggle  Keep posting and you will find that one day you can "Applaud" or "Boo" your fellow board members. I hope that helps!

Good question Angela.  Velocity answered it very well.

If you want to know who's given you karma and why, you can go into your profile, click on "Who changed my Karma?" and you'll see who is applauding (or booing) you and what fabulous thing you said or did to earn karma.

I don't see anything in my profile that says, "who changed my Karma?" Why am I not able to see this?
