Hiding Your Email Address from Others

There are lots of options you can set for your account here and one of them is whether to hide you email address from the public.

Please do so--for your own sake. There isn't any reason for others to readily have your email address unless you specifically give it to them.

Go into your profile then click on "Account Related Settings" and make sure the box under your email address labeled "Hide email address from public?" is checked.

IMPORTANT NOTE: YOU will always be able to see your email address link under your avatar on the board but others won't.

I have decided to hide my address, yet when I go in and say to hide it, it still won't go away.  Any hints?

Homer, it's hidden.  I just looked.  You see it because as UYC said above, you will always be able to see your own address.

Homer, I was having the same problem but then I realized that you can always see your own address just no one else can.
