Can someone please explain the Karma on the left side of all of our posts? This is my VERY first time actually posting on a site like this and I am trying to learn what it all means.... ???

The Karma is a super-cool way to tell someone you like them! ;D The higher the karma, the more people have liked what that person has to say. You can "applaud" or "boo" someone once per hour and it's all cumulative. If someone boos you for something, it deducts from your karma. You'll never know who applauded or booed you though, just how popular you are overall! UYC introduces it here: Not only is the look of this board different, it also has some really neat features.

Good or bad, it's still Karma. Karma is a feature that shows the popularity of a member. Members can 'applaud' or 'smite' other members, which is how their popularity is calculated.
You'll find that under the user name in posts.

Mine's been on the roller coaster as well. And there is no reason for the ones who've been really knocked down within the last 48 hrs, to get that treatment. It's funny though, we get to see if we are affecting them by our comments, what typical behavior - HAHAHAHA!!  At least we know our fellow UYC forum buddies don't hate us. |
