I got this in my email and I didn't buy it. The link would take you to ebay.com.ws/(all kind of letters) I sent it to spoof@eBay.com and they verified that it was fake. Just wanted to pass the information along. I hope it displays big enough.

This one has been going around for awhile.

Want a sure sign it's a fake? Just hover your mouse over the link that says "Confirm your eBay subscription" and look at the address at the bottom left on your screen. It will go somewhere other than eBay.

I don't bother forwarding these to eBay. I'm sure they get millions of these every week.

I always hover my mouse over stuff! You can bust so many people like that, lol. I don't think I ever received a spoof eBay email -- just Paypal. So I thought it was new.

These emails come all the time...eBay, PayPal, banks where I don't have an account...

Another good clue that it's a phishing email is that they don't use your name or user ID in the greeting. They'll address it as "Dear user/customer/sucker..."
