Sassy, you could always use 1 day while the kiddies are gone to fix a lot of those recipies of yours & freeze them for the days you are working continously? Not much fun (well, maybe if you like to cook anyways) but at least it would make it easier for you during work days?

I agree with Tam. Use the time for preparing meals that you can whip out of the freezer later for quick but good for you meals when things are busy. I suggest the library or a bookstore. I could spend all day in a library or bookstore. Feed the brain.  |

Wow, this is almost a year old, but I love this thread. I have one more little one to go though before I can relax. And Sassy, I've also always wanted to write, and LJ, I ADORE bookstores. Do you have a half-priced books from where you hail?

OH YEAH! You can sell your old books and buy books at 1/2 price the retail amount. They get some new books sometimes that are overstock that they also sell at 1/2 the retail....I LOVE IT!

I found brand new hard cover books for $1 in the Dollar Tree today...you can buy on-line too, but I didn't check to see if they had books!

Well, it's not the "best" tractor  But yeah, it's pretty cool! ~Insert Sassy Tractor icon~ And yes Lippie I am very fortunate to have a fantastic porch! For which I need good books to read on!  I'm still jealous of the fantastic shopping in the US! I just want you girls to know how lucky you are to have it right there at your door step!  I just get to enjoy when we go on vacation!

Yes, love Dollar Tree and yep, you can find nice hardcover books there all the time also name brand make up all for $1.00... I just found a bunch of hard cover books at Big Lots for 50 freakin cents... yippee!! I love all those "junk" stores!!

Ohhh, talk about deals at junk stores, we have some of those independently owned junk stores that get merchandise from JC Penney's or QVC and other big "retail" places. I found Breezy brand bras for $ 5.50! QVC sells for between $ 28 - $ 45 ! I couldn't believe it!
