Hey, BloggerMom;

Welcome to our den of lovelies!

We are a kooky, wacky, wild bunch, but beneath our sarcasm you will find women who truly care about you.

As far as MK is concerned - I think the thing that is so striking with any MLM is after the initial honeymoon/excitement phase passes and the dust settles, you realize day by day how much time they steal from your life.  Your upline (despite her saying to the contrary) will push you and tell you to s-t-r-e-t-c-h just a little more until you realize you're pushing your kids and hubby under the bus.  And for what?  A few dollars?  A tiara?  A plastic ring?  Recognition?

At the meetings, you will be constantly reminded how you are so underappreciated at home (says who?) and how MK is the only co. to give you that pat on the back.  Um, excuse me, but I'll take a sticky pbj kiss any day of the week over the plastic smile of my recruiter and a fake-it-till-you-make-it push to do ever more.

I evny your positon.  You haven't been sucked in.  Resist with all your might.  All that glitters (even pink) is not gold!  But your family if forever.

Thanks, Sass.  As we age we really appreciate our relatives/family - even the goofy/nerdy/drive-you-up-the-wall ones.

Other than moving, my life is pretty routine.  I can't believe I ever thought I had time for all the MLMs I have worked.  I must have been a basket-case to everyone around me.

"Excuse me, would you like to buy Mary Kay, Princess House, Jewelry, Jaffra, Amway, or all of the above?  Oh, c'mon, don't be such a sourpuss!"
