I've ordered from TS before, but never went to a party.  It was probably one of the best ones to go to.  There were a lot of different foods/dips/drinks to try.  As a consultant, you don't need to say much (so it doesn't make a difference if people are talking too much) - just pass around the goodies, and everyone orders - and then hopefully re-orders!  I don't know what percentage anyone makes - but it seems a lot easier than doing 'facials'.  The only thing I didn't care for was the Garlic something or other - garlic doesn't agree with me.

Also - Nothing costs that much that you can't afford it -  or won't use it!

Trixie,
My candle friend also does this...lol I just went to a open house last Sunday...my first 'real" party also like this OMG awesome very good I ordered Cheesy chive dip and Vidalia onion dressing...b4 party I ordered the Raspberry syrup and some rubs...everything she made and she made all the new stuff was great...the mousse OMG Heaven!   It is shipped right to my home... nice no delivery!  It was funny My sis was also invited and seller had made cupcakes...she was thrilled with the cupcakes...bit in and made a yukk face... not a carrot fan...she was like there was a carrot in the cupcake incredulous... and it was hilarious!   (Garlic garlic is very garlic!)

Yes, the Garlic was the only thing she made that didn't get past my nose - my name is Trixie, and I am a smeller.  It seems that the more the consultants make - the more they sell.  People tended to buy either what she served, or what they've ordered before and liked.  It would be interesting to see how they really did.
