My all time favorite book is "And Ladies of the Club".  It spans about 60 years from the late 1800s to early 1900s.

What's your favorite thing to do on a Sunday? (or your day off, if you happen to work Sunday)

Sundays (and a few Saturday nights) from February until November mean one thing to me-NASCAR!  Yep, I am a huge fan of NASCAR and have been watching races for as long as I can remember.  I grew up in Indiana, so Jeff Gordon is my favorite driver.

Yellowstone and the Rocky Mountains. If I could have my wish, I would live somewhere in middle-of-nowhere Montana or Wyoming. BIG sky. And Colorado Springs is a close second!! I could easily move there right now!

Do you live close to your parents? Do you wish you did if you don't?

I live close to my parents. Better to live close than have to travel and stay there! LOL

I have been extremely fortunate not to have lost anyone very close to me but I have lost people that I never did get to tell how much I appreciated them.  When I was still a school bus driver, one of my students that I had driven for 4yrs passed away.   It was very sudden and unexpected.  He got the flu and 3 days later he died.  So extremely sad.  He was only 15 and a very sweet boy.  No death is ever easy but I think that one tore me up the most.  He was just so young and I still drove his sister the rest of the year.  I felt so bad for her and her mom but didn't know how to say it without intruding.  I guess I don't know how to deal with people losing loved ones.

What do you think is the most important life lesson you can teach your children?

To truly love the Lord first and foremost, and let that guide every decision and each step along the path of life.

I have really curly hair, so my biggest hair mishap had to be when I cut it to 2-inches all the way around.  It wasnt horrible at first, but it was really bad when it started to grow out.  I couldnt do anything with it, except watch it stick out farther and farther.  At that point I vowed to always keep it long enough to put into a ponytail!

Did you attend your high school prom?

The only family trip I remember going besides to visit relatives was to Washington D.C.  That was pretty neat.  Even as a little kid, I remember so much of it and being awe struck by all that we saw.

Are you a neat freak or a clutterbug?

No, I don't even have any in school YET.  My DD will be going to preschool in the fall and my DS is working on getting out of diapers.  Not soon enough if you ask me (about the diapers).  College seems so far away but I know it will be here before I know it.   Just trying to enjoy the time that I have with them now.

What's the oddest job you ever had?
