Check out the 'movie' at the following link.  It will help if you have sound but the words do appear on the screen as well.

I went to school in Beaverton, Oregon. I work at a middle school now and we are trying to teach the kids about respecting others and all that. I hope they show this movie, if not I am going to buy it and give it to them to show!!!!!!

I found it for sale on a LDS website for $8.95 for VHS format. I am going to buy it for myself for sure!!!!!!!!

I might, MIGHT be able to find it for you cheaper...  Unless you got it through LDS Distribution.

I'm not sure, I just clicked on a link from googling the name.

Did you view the movie that Jypsi had on here? Wow, what a great movie.

It is a sweet movie...  The first one.

I can't seem to find it through the Distribution Center (which is where I got mine 15 years ago)...

I hated that movie whenever we watched it...

You hated Cipher in the Snow or the Make a difference movie?

Because of the sadness?

I remember Cipher in the Snow made such a huge impact on me in High School, I think it lead some to my compassionate side. I can't stand to see people get hurt feelings or be ignored.

I had a great thing happen in class today, one of the students that I work with sometimes has issues related to Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and has learning difficulties. He was saying that this other student who was talking to me thought he was weird.  Well the kids were supposed to split into partners for a project on slavery and the other kid agreed to be with my student and helped him sooooooooooooo much, it made his day to be able to work with another student instead of me! I thanked the other student and gave him a special pass for the lunch line for doing such a sweet thing. I think both students got a lot out of that situation and hopefully will last!!!!!  Love

No, I hated Cipher.  There was a time when I felt like that kid--and to watch it at church and at Seminary during that time was excruciating...  I honestly believed no one would care for me if I died...

I really enjoyed the Make a Difference movie.  I can think of several people who have made a difference in MY life--I only hope I've done the same for them...

I have an adopted niece with FAS.  I don't know her all that well but from what I've heard, it's been a challenge.  It's always inspiring to me to hear of people who are willing to help others...

Oh Laura, I'm sorry you had to go through that.  Love I remember feeling that way when I was 15, I thankfully made some friends that helped me through it, I wish I could thank them now!!!!!

We have so much going on in our lives we sometimes forget to look around and aide each other through the rough times! I hope to be able to do that in my job.

I'm going to bed now, so I'm ready for the kids tomorrow!!!!!! Have a great night!  bighug

Wow, you ladies had quite a chat yesterday!!! giggle   Now I'm curious about the movie you both mentioned! I have never heard of it and that bothers me, because it sounds like something EVERY child should see.  I think I'm going to track down a copy as well.  Now I'm off to explore the links Snoopy put in here (how DO you do that BTW).  I am glad you liked the movie I posted here!
