I hope it's okay to talk about this here.  I see so many wonderful posts here from compassionate individuals and am just curious if you attend church or are just a good person with morals and values?  Jump right in, if you want.

I attend the Church of Christ.

I am a Baptist without a church at the moment -- trying to find the right fit.  I like the old school churches with the beautiful hymns and organs -- no "new" stuff for me!   giggle

Although I do not have a church right now, I do have a beautiful relationship with God that knows no boundaries.

I attend a non-denominational Christian church, although I grew up Southern Baptist.   smiley

My family and I are Methodist.  My dh has always been Methodist, but I come from a Catholic/Jewish background.

I dont quite care for organized religion but I dont bash it at all.

I grew up in the Disciples of Christ/New Testament Christian Church.  My dad was raised Church of Christ and my mother Methodist.  When I was in high school I searched for the religion that filled the hole inside.  I have been all the previous mentions organized religions plus Baptist.  But my home where I am very active is Catholic.  I am the only Catholic in my family on either side as far back as I can trace.  My DH is Bible Baptist, Bob Jones University type Baptist.

OMCATS Marvie!  We really are sistas from another mista!  I was he exact same way until I turned 26....then it was all about God from that point on!

I have JUST NOW started sharing my faith with people again....after my MK director-stint, I really felt lead astray and needed to recommit and allow God to do "His" thing not me doing MY thing hoping he will bless it.

AND, thankfully enough, but the love and support of my husband, family, "real world" friends and Anti-MK friends I am healing up quite nicely!  Thank you all for all you have done for ME!  I know it is truly a God thing, because I know I do not deserve it.   Love Love Love

I'm with you sox! I consider myself to be very spiritual, I have to be for my line of work as death is an everyday event. I choose not to be involved with organized religion either, but I would never think badly of someone that does choose religion and embrace it. As I know the person that does choose religion would never think badly of me for my choice!
I do think that religion has some very good lessons and rules to live by, but I feel that religion (especially in the middle east) is one of the main reasons for war. Nothing bothers me more that someone killing another person and feeling good about it because it was in the name of God or Ala.
There I go rambling again...this was suppose to be short and sweet. giggle
