Hi (again). I posted this last night, but I didn't see it show up so I'm trying again. If you see two introduction posts from me that's why!
I just recently found this website ... I've been in MK almost 8 years ... sigh! I am just finally reaching the last straw with this recent change in compacts/color. I know, can you believe it's taken me this long?! I've always been a "hobbyiest/personal" consultant but have managed to get about 20 good customers which has made being a consultant a little more worth my time. I've really been paring down my inventory and thankfully have a good friend who is also a consultant and we have been able to trade items which is helping me reduce what I order. I don't feel as if I went in debt with MK but it always makes me sick when things are discontinued and I still have them - argh. I hate doing end of year inventory for tax purposes and I have to pull out all of the things no longer available, although this year thankfully it's not as much as in the past!!
After 8 years I'm just tired of having it on my mind. I used to go to meetings when I first started and was definitely blinded by the pink fog. I never brought anyone to meetings as I always felt how the "opportunity" was shared wasn't very truthful. There's no way you can make money in this business as a part time career and even as a director you don't make as much money they say you will. I've been to seminar twice way back when - have many here been to seminar?
That's it for now as I don't even know if this will post! I'm looking forward to hearing everyone's experiences. Ya'll are a hoot from what I've read so far!

Hi SnapCracklePop! Welcome. It sounds like you've been smart about how you've handled your MK business. In the short time that I was in, I think two products were changed. The Satin hands set and the body scrub and wash. Bleh. I know you'll find a lot of great advice and helpful people here. And, you're right, the ladies here are a hoot. |
