Hey y'all!  I am kind of introducing myself again...I signed up here back in the summer and kinda lost track of the site. Since my old director and her director are sending me emails and letters again, I remembered this site and needed some "support" again! lol!

I was in MK for about 5 yrs- would have been 6 yrs this coming May.  I didn't really get "serious" w/ it (ie- dropped the $3600 for full inventory :gah:) until a few yrs later.  I was soooo into the hype and really wanted to earn the BIG $$$...I was even being "groomed" to be a director...what a joke!  I quickly learned that it was more for my EESSD's desire to make National before her 65th b-day last May than her desire to see me succeed...
I hated calling my friends and bugging them, so I only had a few of them do classes for me- they did pretty well, but I just didn't have that "knack" for spouting all the "bs" like "skin care is only sold as sets" etc... I just couldn't do it...I refused to be pushy and in ppl's faces all the time- so I got fed up and quit!  (also b/c we moved from NC to WI last April and just had no desire to do it anymore)

So after telling my directer last summer that I was done w/ MK...she still sends me the newsletter ( the most pitiful excuse for a newsletter i've ever seen, btw) and such...well, not anymore b/c I just got a letter from her stating that she's stepping down from directorship- her aging mother and such...I think it's more that she's lost a few other consultants and just can 't keep her levels up, but whatever...now the afforementioned EESSD is my director and I'm getting millions of freakin cheesy emails from her... Sick

Ok...thanks for letting me get all that off my chest!  Should I email her back and ask that she take me off her list??  I have NO desire to return to MK...ever!!

Are you still active, or even inactive but still a consultant?  If you're not, she shouldn't be sending you those spammy mails.

You can still email her and ask to be removed from the list.  If that doesn't work, just block her emails.  When they start bouncing, she'll get the hint.

I was lucky - I had a seperate email account set up for mk, so when I quit, I just cancelled the account.  Instant solution!

 :hello: Welcome back.....Glad to hear that you are finished with MK!

PPA is right about the spammy e-mails....when I continued to get them for a while I didn't even bother to open them....I'd instantly delete them.

Good Luck with the e-mail thing and I'm glad you came back here!

Another option, if you're not inclined to block the e-mails from her for whatever reason, with some e-mail filters you can direct them to send certain e-mails directly to a designated folder.  Such as..."Trash". 

And then just empty them out with the rest of the trash.  Unread.  Kind of like a lot of the junk mail that hits our homes.

I seriously don't know the answer to stopping the e-mails from your now Director.  I might be tempted to keep getting them just for the amusement factor.  When you're in the bubble it all seems so important......but when you see the light, you see just how cheesy they are.

BTW, your children are darling.

I started sending her emails to my spam folder...I'm kinda interested in seeing what's new.  NOt sure why I care, but I do- lol!!
