I am in desperate need to sell my MK inventory that is over 1 year old.  Everything is in good shape.
I have been a consultant for almost 3 years, like the product (although I know use Mario Badescu), but need to sell to pay off debt.

I see negatives and positives to being in Mary Kay.  Just doesn't work for me.

Glad to have this website to get help!

Gail, you can list your items on the inventory trading board, find an inventory liquidator, ebay.com or try craigslist.com, you will have to part with your MK at a rather large discount like at cost or lower. It is well worth it to get MK out of your hair though!!!!

Welcome Gail.

Start with the liquidators here. They are profiled in their own section of the board. You may just want to post a general "need to sell" post on the Inventory Trading board and then send a detailed list to anyone interested.

Have you called the repurchase department to make absolutely sure that you aren't eligible to send anything back? I would make sure to do that just in case.

If you want to do it yourself on eBay, that's always an option. Or ask someone who has experience to do it for you, for a fee.

Thanks ladies for your feedback!  Since I posted my first time, my husband's work hours have been reduced to 20 hours (can't make it on that).
I have sent an email to my customers telling them what I am doing, if they'd like to buy anything before I return it and if I can help them in referring a MK consultant to them.  Too many times I hear consultants leaving and not helping their customers link up with someone else!  What happened to the Christian ethics and all the talk about taking care of your customers?  I can't do that to them, I thanked them and will miss them.
I will call MK Inc. on Monday to find out what repurchase I qualify for.  I have received an email back from Anne's Zoo, she buys inventory at 70-75% off retail.  I will use any means to help get extra funds in and to be free of MK once and for all.
BTW, I contacted my recruiter months ago about Section 2 products I could offer her & her team.  Never got a response!!  But I do get emails inviting me to her MK functions.  Also, my Director rarely contacts me since I'm not attending meetings, keeping up with the Star Consultant purchases and selling/recruiting a lot.  She has been in MK for over 9 years, has posted on her website her highest commmision check for 1 month was over $8,000 but yet "earns" the Cadillac, then loses it.  It' up and down, not steady even for her and she's good as a Director.

Sorry, I don't have that 3-in-1 cleanser.  Thanks for asking.
