I got my hair cut last night and my fears were confirmed. Sebastian Shaper
Plus has changed the formula. :( It was my holy grail of hairsprays. The
gel I use has also been discontinued, but I have a large bottle and it will last
a while.
I am in need of a new hairspray and styling products. I loved Sebastian
Shaper Plus, but they have changed the formula and it no longer provides any
hold. I also need a new light weight gel. Or should I be using something
else? I asked my stylist for recommendations but all she sells is
Sebastian.
I have wavy hair that I can make look naturally curly (until I brush it). I
have a decent amount of natural volume, hair is cut in layers and shoulder
length.
I like to wear my hair natural, wavy to curly. I usually wash, condition,
apply a bit of gel, and dry with a diffuser.
I've tried salon products specifically labeled for curly hair and they all
seem to weigh down my hair and make it greasy.
Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I grew mine out sometime ago, then I cut them, now I'm thinking, "What the HELL was I thinking"!! I don't know, I just can't be happy with my hair!  We need someone on UYC to be a hairstylist! HEEEEELLLLOOOO.....are you out there???? |

I am trying to grow out all of my hair, its been short for 2 years!  , I was in mk for 2 yrs! Sick I really liked short hair before MK  I just need something new, and with less trips to the salon!!! |

Me too. Cut mine off real short. I had such a nice long bob. So -- now I am growing everything out to one length. These bangs made me crazy they are too long to spray and too short to go behind my ear. I am never happy either.

HEEEEELLLLOOOO.....are you out there???? Heyyy, don't be so hard on bangs. They are back in style and as you grow them out, you can wear side-swept bangs, which to me is sooo cute. I went to Cosmetology School, got certified, then realized it was more of a hobby for me than a career so i went into law. But, my stongest qualities was coloring and cutting. Ahhh, the memories!! |

Cosmetology was my interest right out of high school, but i also worked in a law firm part-time to help make ends meet until i got certified. About 3/4 into it, i realized that i couldn't tolerate a career that required me to be on my feet allllll day long. At the same time, law became more and more interesting. The firm i was working for viewed me as a great asset to them and offered to send me to paralegal school on their dime. Since I hate starting things and not finishing them, i went ahead and finished cosmetology and then went to the Beverly Hills Bar, got certified as a Legal Assistant and then on to paralegal school. I just couldn't pass up an opportunity like that and i'll always be grateful that God brought me to that firm and helped me make the right decision. And the rest is history!! bounce |
