Ginger,
I have really curly hair and I always use the John Frieda stuff from Target or wherever. I have the straightening and curly stuff and Friz-ease. Lately I've been using the mousse and twisting it like they show all the curly haired chicks on "What Not to Wear". I straightened and smoothed for years, but since I've gone back to work, it's curly top for me.

Could you explain this? I'm not a regular US WNTW watcher. I like the BBC version better. Thanks.

BBC all the way for me, too! Love Trinny and Susannah. But on Friday nights when everybody else goes to the away football games, it's just me, Stacy and Clinton The hairstylist always puts mousse on curly girls at the roots, works it out to the ends, then takes strips of hair and makes curls with his hands. I never liked to leave my hair curly because it just looked messy, but since I started doing this, it looks a lot better. Then you just let it dry naturally. Voila!

Kind of like that, only they're just hanging there.
Actually, when I do that to my hair, it looks a lot like the hair on my avatar (which is why I chose it, of course!)

Hey Ginger, Look at Mimi's post in "brag about your business". She may be able to give you some advice.

I was a hair stylist many moons ago (almost 20 years ago!) but I never really stuck with it. With my health, it was just too much to be on my feet all of the time. I do cut hubby's hair and give perms now and again, but that is it. Sorry I can't help!
