Well, since we're seeing it in Walgreen's with other companies, I'll bet MK will be coming out with their own version of Mineral makeup.....in a year or two! ;D

Diva, Try putting the Minerals' foundation on with a sponge (unfortunately, MK's is good for this - I have plenty of them left) and you will get better coverage. I was in Hollywood last January in "Sephora" and told the sales girl I'd pay anything to find the best foundation for my skin and she asked what I currently used. I told her I was trying the Bare Minerals and she just said for me to try the sponge application and I'm much happier (I have to have more coverage than most). Imagine, an HONEST sales person who wasn't just out to take my money! I complimented her and should write a letter to Sephora to do so as well.

I just tried the Clear Radiance and I love it. It brightened my dull complexion. I am hooked on this and recomend it to all. Also, try the brand new Tinted Mineral Veil--Fab!!!!!

yeah, I use the clear radiance as kind of ahighlighter on cheekbones, chin, etc. I just think it gives a little glow- I have found, whoever mentioned the sponge, that on small spots I can use a sponge to apply multi-tasking minerals (bisque) as a concealer and get a little more coverage than w/ the full cov. concealer brush when I need it---thanks! I still love b. minerals, it has been over 2 months now, still have plenty left, and I just like the natural look they give. still looking for a great eyeliner that stays and mascara- anyone???

You might like the Borjois mascara-I get it thru Sephora. There is also Avon's Daring Curves. The other Avon mascara's are not great, but this one is very good.

I really love this makeup. But my skin looked so perfect I was walking up to women I didnt even know and asking if it looked normal. They all said it looked like I had no makeup on.

You are funny Lori- lol. Did they proceed to inquire why you were asking them?? That is just too funny. Thanks for the mascara tip= I love bourjois lipgloss, so I might try their mascara---and their items are reasonable, which is of course a nice thing.

No, I would not- but you did remember their comments, so that's something to keep in mind next time you're asked by an intoxicated woman whether or not her dress makes her @$$ look fat, or whatever else crazy question may come out of her mouth--she might just remember who was brutally honest the next day! Anyway, so glad that you know the truth now, that you can go on wearing your minerals and noone is going to wonder what you have on your face---:) I love them more and more each day---you know, as much as you can love makeup- but it is a simple pleasure of mine- and prob. of most people who were at one time sucked into the MK world- that's why we all found this forum, right? Off to dine w/ the hubby- haven't seen him in a couple of days, so looking forward to a night out.

Just broke down and bought the kit for my 19 year old daughter who has been dealing with huge acne problem since she went to college.
All I can say is WOW. Great coverage, looks natural and so far so good, no flare ups with the acne.
Also bought the Aveda acne kit and she likes that a lot, too. She did a study abroad in France and her face was clear until she came home, but also said that one of the girls she lived with told her that her mom sells ARBONNE and it works great.
I said.....No thank you, we'll go to the store!

as for acne, since I started flaring up all of the sudden this past year, I've found that salycilic acid works, in conjunction w/ a low % of benzoyl peroxide. I had always just used a b.p. product, but have found that the salycilic at 1.5-2% works great at clearing it up- it can actually get into the pores and clean them out- so I recommend something w/ that:) glad she likes mineral foundation- I've seen there are lots of great brands out there, but I like b.m too:)

I absolutely love my bare minerals!!!
I've been using them for about a year, without 1 zit break out at all! I've gotten my daughter to try them, she has acne, and the coverage is phenominal. I won't go back to liquid because this is the first time I've found a color that matches my skin tone.
One thing I love...If you have pores that seem bigger than normal (for me it depends on the day) you can "press" some of the mineral veil into the pore with a dab on your finger, then use as normal - the pores just disappear!

How does Bare Minerals work with really oily skin? I haven't heard much about that. . .
I have incredibily oily skin, used to have to reapply my makeup in the afternoon until I started using MK. I like the idea of the powder foundation though, I am not really loving using a liquid. My only concern is with how oily my skin is, that the product would basically melt off throughout the day and I'd have to reapply. Has anyone had experience with this?
Thanks!
