I have dry skin now that I live at a higher elevation. I used to use a mineral foundation, but all of the cracks and dry skin would pop out. Anyone use a liquid that they can recommend?? I am so leary of make-up these days.... Sick

Sad, I have oily skin so I don't have a recommendation for you. But I wanted to recommend the website http://www.makeupalley.com People have listed reviews for almost any makeup product you can imagine. While I don't take the reviews as the gospel, it's nice to read them before making a purchase. I think you have to join to read the reviews, but it's free. Also, read the book "Don't Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me", check it out from the library don't buy it. A new version is coming out next year. HTH |

Hey Sad, I took a break from the minerals over the summer. It just felt like too much on my skin in the hot weather. I switched back to liquid because I wanted something that sinks in and gets absorbed. I have been using Revlon Age Defying liquid and I've been liking it. The one I use is for normal/combination skin with spf 20 but I am sure there is one for dry skin too.

If you have a CVS, they take returns on makeup. Not sure if Walmart does or not.

Walmart takes returns too. The first Revlon I tried was the wrong color so I took it back no problem and got another one.

I have very dry skin too. I have used Bobbi Brown and loved it......$40 though. I now use Paula's Choice and like it alot.........$12 www.cosmeticscop.comShe also has reviews on this site. I, too, frequent makeupalley.com, the reviews are by folks like me and you! |

Bobbi Brown baby. Gotta try her. I love the luminizing foundation myself. She has amazing colors and several different moisturizing foundations. If you're looking for a smaller price, try Paula's choice as you can order samplers too. |
