I am blond with blue eyes.  I wear the "Light" Bare Minerals.  I like wearing browns or variations of on my eyes because they are "safe" and "foolproof" but would like to expand my choices.  What colors do you think are appropriate for fair skin, blond hair and blue eyes?  The ones I have in Bare Minerals eye shadow colors are Vanilla Sugar, Faux Fox, and You Can Never Be Too Rich Brown.  I also use Well-Rested as a base for my eye shadows.

Hi NoMoreGuilt,

It sounds like you're more comfortable with neutrals and browns, but blue eyes can actually wear a lot of different colors. If your eyes have some green, you can experiment with sage green, forest green, light green, and olive green. Turqouise is usually a great color for blue eyes, as are smokey blues (blues with gray undertones).  Taupe, gray, lavender, violet, pink and even bright colors like fuschia look great on true blue eyes. Or try a little black underneath one of these colors to really make it pop. Use charcoal, silver or gray eyeliner for a change.
