What is your favorite perfume/fragrance?

Hopefully it's non-MK.   giggle

My favorite perfume is Laila.  It's from Norway.  I like it because it's different.  It seems to last a long time, when you wear it.  To me it smells very fresh, with flowers and a hint of fruit.

I also like the original Realities by Liz Claiborne.  Unfortunately they changed the formula and the new version is terrible.

I have a small trial bottle of Pure White Linen by Estee Lauder.  I'm still deciding if I like it or not.  It's different than what I'm used to.  Smells familiar but I can't think why.

I got one as a gift a long time ago that I just loved.  My friend bought it for me at a PX, I think.  I didn't think to write it down after she gave it to me and now I wish I had...  I don't even know where to begin to look for it.  I just remember it was in a small, blue bottle.  *sigh*

I am a dedicated Vicky secrets perfume wearer. I love almost all of them and my all time fave is PINK. My fiance likes when i wear love spell.

Outside of regular perfume there is this stuff called basic instinct which brings out your natural pheromones. I don't know what it smells like for everyone else, but my pheromones smell pretty good. LOL.  rofl

Each perfume of mine has a time sequence with the DH:
Happy by Clinique
Miracle by Lancome
Then I up and have expensive taste: so not my intentions: Gucci, Envy me (pink), and Envy me 2 (green)
Sometimes I put on Nautica for men, I love it so much on my DH and I spray some on my pups too.
BCBG Girls, Max Azria- kind of strong but good for the once a year it's cold in Miami-
Bath and Bodyworks (Luxuries) Juniper Breeze and Sweet pea
And of course a junkie for the Victoria Secret body sprays, especially during the holidays they were so cheap I stocked up, Pure Seduction, Vanilla.
Yeah, so maybe you wanted one, but here are my faves...a woman can't smell the same everyday...
and I must admit I liked Tribute by MK but I never bought it, just sampled it in my  Kaybot bathroom  rofl

I have lots, but here is my list.
Top 10: Stella by Stella McCartney,  Coco Chanel, Burberry London, Ralph Lauren Pure Turquise, Dolce and Gabanna Light Blue (love this in the summer), Escada EnFleurs (very hard to find, sadly), Pacifique VanilleAbricot, Donna Karen Cashmere and Donna Karen Pure Gold, and an independent etsy perfume called Shockoe Bottom from Modern Alterier on Etsy(another great summer scent).
I don't wear all of these right now, some are ones I've loved in the past and don'thave now---I'm currently in love w/ the Burberry and RLauren one, and newly hooked on the Pacifique VanilleAbricot.
I love florals if they're not too sweet, and I love things w/ some spice, sandalwood or amber in the background. It's all about how things smell on you though, but these are all ones that through the years I've loved. I love trying new perfumes and having a few to choose from at any given time based on my mood, the time of day, or what I'm wearing. Who knows? Fun.

Donna Karen Be Delicious
Ibiza Hippie by Escada
Happy Heart by Clinique
Bath and Body Works- Cucumber Melon, Sweet Pea
Victoria's Secret- Strawberries & Champagne

truthskr- I LOVE Nautica for men too! bighug Before I was married, I'd talk to strangers wearing it!! (It's a very sexy fragrance, ladies!!) Had an ex who wore Lucky for men (haven't liked it much since!)  giggle

I liked Journey but never wore it unless it was a sample vial.  :holycow

I've never been able to figure out the "notes" of a perfume.  When I was younger, I had several that I routinely used that I rotated:

Enjoli
Chantilly
Windsong,
Avon's Soft Musk
Unforgettable
Vanilla Musk
That elusive one that I already mentioned
Exclamation
Vanilla Fields/Musk

There are more but I just don't remember

My hubby doesn't like perfume so I've stopped wearing it except on special occasions.  *sigh*  My favorite MK one is Journey.  It seems to combine with my natural scent quite nicely in spite of being from the evil empire.  giggle

anyway...

well, you obviously like musk and many of those also have a soft floral top and a couple have some vanilla/amber as well. So those are obviously things you like.
On Sephora, you can look up perfumes and find out their top/middle/base notes and compare, etc. that way you'll know more what to look for.
Journey is a change from the rest of your list- it is a floral mainly--just lots of layers.
Perhaps you'll find something nice that even your hubby likes--who knows?
