My hair dryer died two weeks after I bought it.  No more Wal*Mart for this gal.

Anyone have any suggestions on brand/type/whatever?

Anyone willing to point Miss Snoopy in the right direction?

2 weeks seems like a very short lifespan.  Did it have any type of warranty?

yeah.  Uh.  It's been several months since it died and I don't have the box or receipt.

Silly Snoopy...

(My summer's been crazy, that's my excuse.)

I hadn't had to use a hair dryer until the last couple weeks.  I had gone for years before I bought the one that died without using one.

Now I'm kinda stuck!

Take it from me!  Go buy a good one from Sally's or a beauty supply store!  I have really thick hair and I can burn up a Walmart dryer fast it will start smelling like its on fire  :doh  They cost more, but the are much better and I think they have warranties.

Mine is <going to check brand name> Revlon, and it is dark blue, and I have had it for YEARS. That is my only suggestion  :ooops:

That's what I was thinking--going to Sally.  Is there one kind that is better than another?  What is with these "ionic" types?

I don't know what brand is better.  But I had one from there for probably 10 yrs before it kicked.  The one I have now is a Curlmaster and I have had it for about 3 years.
