I am loving this stuff!  www.cosmeticscop.com

Took me a bit to figure out what I wanted and needed, but here it is:

My skin care routine...

Cleanser -- Clean and Clear Morning Burst facial cleanser (thanks, Tracy!) and at night I am using the Oil of Olay cleansing cloths

Then (day and night) I am using Paula's Choice 1% BHA hydroxy acid gel (I am using the BHA as an exfoliator for my hormonal breakouts and sun damage -- if you just have sun damage, then use the AHA formulas)

Followed by her Super Antioxidant Concentrate (just a FEW drops for the whole face)

And then the Skin Balancing Moisture Gel...

THREE products to use day and night and now my entire scary kay routine has been replaced by good stuff!  smiley

I am using some Paula's Choice products too.  And I love them!  As I use up my MK products, they will be replaced with PC products.  I'm almost out of MK moisturizer and then I will order PC

I am using the some of the same products as Throwinguppink.  The 1% BHA and the super antioxidant.

You can order samples of almost anything from the link above.

Not to change the subject but I have Cetephil cleaners for oily skin in my shower and I like it.  I have 2 cleansers, 1 in the shower and 1 at the sink.  I'm too lazy to walk back and forth morning and night.  LOL

I love Paula's website and books.  She has a free weekly e-newsletter, and offers a more comprehensive monthly newsletter (that you pay for).  I tend to break out in the T-zone,  and I use her 2% Beta hydroxy acid gel and skin balancing carbon mask (very refreshing). I"ve ordered some skin care samples that I'm trying now.  I have mild rosacea, so I have to be careful what I use,  but none of her products have been irritating at all so far.

Constant Color Lip Paint is the BOMB!!    smiley    It's like liquid lipstick, you put it on with a spongetip applicator. It's long-wearing but not drying.   It's about $10.  The only negative is deciding which colors to order!!  Ya'll let me know if you try it, tell me what you think.  I want to try the lipgloss next. Now that I'm out of Scary Kay, I'm branching out and trying more products!    Love    Love     Love

Thanks for the recommendation.  I LOVE PC skin care products, but haven't tried any of the makeup products.  Is the Lip Paint shiny?

Ginger, some have shine, some don't.  The website pictures are pretty true-to-color, and she mentions in the description if they have shine or not (and how much).  My favorites are Burnished Blush, which is shiny, and Honey Rose. It's described as having slight shimmer, but I don't see it. I think they're both good neutral colors.

Hey Sickie, she has a MERLOT lipliner that she suggests for the Burnished Blush!!

I'm glad you all like the PC products as well. I love the moisturizing antioxidant moisturizer spf 30 and also like the super antioxidant concentrate at night---and I use the 2% BHA liquid---love it!!! That stuff is the reason my skin cleared up after a bout of craziness taht started last year.
As I use up the cleanser I have now, I may try hers--I did try samples and loved them. smiley
anyway--I too have been very happy w/ her products. My skin feels good and she doesn't make outlandish claims like "botox in a bottle" or whatever.

That's something I like about Paula, she actually cautions against products that have names like that.  She cautions that over-the-counter products can only do so much (and aren't a substitute for prescription products such as Retina-A or cosmetic procedures).  And that you don't have to spend a fortune to get quality cosmetics and hair products.

She does rate products from all price ranges. She denotes which ones are expensive by "$" symbols.  (the more $, the more expensive it is).  Some of the White Rain hair products have been rated to be quite good, and they are around $1 (where I live, anyway).

OMG I am in love with this line!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried the skin balancing cleanser and cannot believe how clean my skin feels, and its not overly tight!!!!

And the Hydralite moisturizer!!!  *faints*

I was really skeptical about this because I have the hardest time with moisturizers for my skin type (Combination oily).  They just dont hydrate enough or are irritating.  This stuff is incredible!!!!

Friday is payday and Im ordering more of the products!!!

I got my latest order!!!   clap clap clap

Chocoholic -- thank you, thank you, thank you for the rec on the lip paint!!  This stuff is amazing -- gonna order more colors!  I love the lip gloss from Beauty Bliss, but when I need to wear lipstick, I can use the lip paint with Lynn's lip gloss over it -- looks fab!!  It lasts FOREVER and dries immediately.  I love it!

And the lip gloss is wonderful too -- not gooey at all.  The color I got is a little dark for every day for me, but is great for evenings.

I have been using the 1% BHA lotion for my blemishes and dark spots (love it -- no more pimples!), and just got the 8% AHA gel to use at night for my dark spots.  Will see how that goes -- my face is so smooth.

And I am still loving the skin balancing moisture gel for my moisturizer...

Ahhh...  new stuff to try!
