My husband, who is so vain about his teeth,  giggle had the laser whitening done before a college reunion almost 4 years ago.  Occasionally he uses the trays they provided with the service at night.

My front teeth are bonded, so they are not natural tooth material, so supposedly the whitening doesn't work on my teeth, so I haven't wasted the money to try it (I need to get my bonding redone one of these days and then I guess I'll figure it out from there!)

All my kids have/had braces, and my ortho says that the invisaligns are great for keeping teeth in place and really only work well if you don't have to move them a lot.  He actually uses them for retainers, although after a few years my kids have gone to regular retainers because they didn't feel like the invisaligns were holding their teeth in place as much as they should.  Also, he says it's really easy to get teeth to move, the challenge is getting them to stay where you want them.  You always have to wear your retainer or you're wasting your ortho dollars!

I've been using the Crest whitestrips for a couple years now, and they work great.  I've tried all the other gels and stuff that you paint on at night and they DON'T work.  My dentist told me that after using the strips don't eat or drink anything (but water) for an hour after so it doesn't stain your teeth.  They do make my teeth sensitive afterwards though and I use my sons flouride paste that I get through the dentist office.  I use it about an hour after the strips and that does seem to help.  They have really made a difference in the whiteness of my teeth cause I drink tea all day and I do smoke....(I know...yuk).

Feel your pain...quit smoking 3 yrs ago.  Hardest thing ever but worth it.  Even tho I gained 40#.  Worth it. though and now I am losing it!  (Finally!)

I've used the Crest White strips/premium and I do like the results.  However, my teeth are senstive so I can only do once a day treatment instead twice.  Also, sometimes I have to skip a day.  I haven't used them in about 3 months, but they're still pretty white.
