Ok, I'll confess, I'm trying to get totally out of the fog, and I'm almost to a new posting milestone...
Anyway, I'm always curious about people who want to stay as personal use consultants because they want a discount on MK. I've never liked MK, which is one big reason why I couldn't bring myself to actually tell people that I was selling it. I get really bored with stuff, usually before it's gone, so I can't imagine using something year after year and never changing. I guess I am lucky in that I have always had really good skin, so maybe that's why I am not brand loyal.
Anyway, after all that......what products do you use? I'll start.
Aveda Sensitive skin cleanser, toner, moisturizer and microdermabrasion Prescriptives super line preventer, concealer and foundation (I have a hard time finding a good foundation color--prescriptives is the only place I've been able to get a good match) L'oreal and clinique eye shadows L'oreal and prescriptives mascara Neutrogena eye makeup remover clinique and dior eye pencils Neutrogena lipstick (and free clinique samples!) Dior loose powder Nivea night cream Origins eye cream L'Occitan rosemary mint foot cream
I think that's it. I'm almost out of moisturizer and I found something new I want to try. I also really like Avalon lavendar facial cleanser. I will probably buy that again after the Aveda runs out.
I'll be curious to see what everybody else uses!

Well....it would be easier to tell you what I don't have. ha! Certainly NOT much MK anything anymore. I threw away everything that I didn't think that I use again. I saw that you use the Dior loose powder. It is so awesome, goes on so smooth and light...and does not rub off, ahem! angel

I did a massive cleaning not long ago and got rid of a lot of stuff, so I'm now down to two little plastic baskets of stuff.
And I love that dior powder! It is so fine, I've never seen anything like it.

Mom -- Love your signature line!! I also can't wait to try some new stuff -- before MK, I hardly used anything, never wore makeup and certainly didn't put a million things on my face twice a day...

I still use the Illumineyes and satin lips, since I haven't ran out yet and might as well, I paid for it - dearly I use a generic antibacterial hand wash on my face, it dries it out really good, which helps to keep my zits away. I use a generic equivalent to Oil of Olay Moisturizer with SPF 15 and occasionally an astringent with salicylic acid. I also have a generic moisturizer with alpha hydroxy acid too. I know, generic is so cheap a$$, but after getting burned by Mary Kay and trying other expensive kinds (Este and Clinique) I just can't justify the price anymore, and the ones I use work for me. I do use Bare Minerals because it's the only foundation that matches my skin tone - I'll be getting Beauty Bliss minerals next, since you guys let me know they are less expensive and just as good, if not better. My complexion is in awesome shape and I haven't had a zit in months!! Maybelline Lash Discovery mascara Kohl eyeliner Bare Minerals Well Rested eye brightener Maybelline, L'Oreal and Cover Girl various colors lipstick That's about it...

I'm with you OOP. After getting burned in MK, I actually had a great time trying products just to see how cheap I could go. A lot of the generics work as well as the brand names and I'd rather have the money for books or clothes or NFL Sunday ticket. I use generic equivalent of Cetaphil face wash and moisturizer at night. I have a few other moisturizers I wanted to try, L'Oreal, Avon, etc. In the morning I use soap in the shower and a Eucerin SPF moisturizer. I use minerals but not every day. Great lash mascara Various cheap/generic lipsticks. My current favorite is a lip pencil I got for .99. It stays on a long time and doesn't smell

The one thing s just don't get..... you really don't have to wear all that goop to be beautiful!! All of us seem to prefer the minimalistic make up route compared to the "Maskey Kay" way

I agree with CDM - I love the MK Timewise products. I'll probably keep using them. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. But.....I am having a blast trying new foundations (love the Beauty Bliss minerals), lip glosses (I clicked through to ELF from Sandy's blog) and you get great lip glosses for $1.00. I really like glaze-type glosses and the plumping glosses from ELF (haven't seen any plumping- what do you want for $1.00 ) are terrific (good colors). Dude, I'm having an attack of the parentheses - sorry. I must be the one person who loves MK's Ultimate Mascara. Seriously, I used Great Lash for a very long time and didn't even have to think about when I tried the Ultimate. Freaky lashes maybe? Anyway - good topic motr.

I still use the Timewise, but switched my foundation to Bare mInerals and I am very excited with it .... I still use the eye shadows and the brushes(maybe because I haven't try something else) But I've been thinking on changing the eye shadows and blush to mineral make up..... I am just trying to use up all the crap I have left from MK Boo

I always hated the MK eyeshadows--they would not stay on without some kind of goop (can't remember what you call it). When I was in HS, my best friend's sister in law sold MK, and since we lived in a small town and never got to go to stores, we all ordered it. I'm talking this was back when there was a masque that was dry oatmeal and you had to mix it with water, and all the eyeshadows had to be mixed with water (they were hard pallettes--is that how you spell it?). And they didn't sell lipstick, you had to buy it in pallettes (and a lip brush) to click into your nifty MK compact thing that was HUGE and supposedly made from the same materials used to make telephones in the mid 1970's! Anyway, back in the olden days you didn't have more than one bathroom, so I put on my makeup in my room, so I always had this cup of nasty water to rinse out my eyeshadow brush. It was really disgusting. Ten years later when I "sold" MK (I use that term loosely, actually, I just stored MK in my basement.....but I digress), you no longer had to use the eyeshadow wet, but it just wouldn't go on to the brush or your eyelid well enough to make it worth the effort! There ends the saga of my MK eyeshadow experience

For now I have Timewise products, and some MK classics (like blemish control toner & mask). But, those will only remain until I have used up (or sold) what didn't get shipped off last week, then I'll probably go back to Neutrogena. I've also switched to Bare Minerals, but will probably try out Lynn's mineral products. I do like MK's lash lengthening mascara (but Wal-mart sells a really cheap mascara that I was happy with before I started MK). I am also using up my MK color products, they work well enough for now. I think I might splurge for my birthday and order some samples of Lynn's cheek and eye colors. I turn 41 the end of this month. For some reason 41 is hitting me harder than 40 did. So I'll buy some fun colors to help provide the youthful glow that no longer comes naturally. One other product I've become addicted to is that new pre-brushing whitening mouthwash. It really does seem to work well. I also like to keep a nice candle on my bathroom counter. I like the way the flickering candlelight reflects from the mirror into the master bedroom. It provides a safe yet romantic way to light up the bedroom. (Remember, soft lighting is a very good way to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.)

Hmm, actually on my counter there isn't much. Some hand soap and my hair dryer are the only things on there, but in my cabinet I do have the MK skin care - I really like it, and my Bare Minerals (LOVE IT!) along with my regular old Chapstick that I really missed while I was in MK. My body lotion is Bath and Body Works, never cared for the MK stuff at all. And then the contact solution, which I am glad that MK didn't make, because I am sure they would have found a way to screw that up for me too!

The only things on my counter is a candle, a small jewelry box, and my handsoap and lotion from Bath & Body Works - Eucalyptus Spearmint. I love that scent! But if you look in my bottom drawer you will find my horde of MK products I'm trying to use up before I buy anything else - all neatly arranged. Maybe I'll try the mineral foundation when I run out of my Medium coverage tube.

OMG, I'm so obsessed w/ beauty products- I have Glytone cleanser I use a few times a week (glycolic acid) then a gentle Origins cleanser I use the rest of the time, MK Eye m.u. remover (using it up, will switch to neutrogena prob. b/c it's easier to get and cheap) , Paula's Choice Salicylic acid treatment, Paulas Choice Antioxidant concentrate serum (love it!!), MK Acne treatment gel, Estee Lauder Antioxidant Plus Day Wear, spf 30, a Neutrogena Intensive Night treatment Retinol face cream for night, Blistex lip fusion lip balm and my new fav, VintageBodySpa "Suga' Lips" lip balm! (they have a sight on Etsy, where I sell my bags- great beauty/bath products and jewelry on etsy, fyi) Makeup, I have mostly Bare Minerals for foundation, cheeks, eyes, sonia Kashuk lipstick(my favorite, so creamy), trying Sonia Kashuk Mascara, Bourjois lip gloss, love it!, I could go on, I have some more, but this is what I use--can you believe that? Almost embarassing to have such a list, but I really do use it all, and I really can get ready in 15 minutes- I do use a combination of Sonia kashuk, Bare Minerals and MK brushes--but other than those 2 things I listed, I don't use MK skin care anymore, it just wasn't working fo rme. My skin has changed and I had to find something else. MK really doesn't have anything except acne treatment gel for blemishes- that Blemish Fighting Solution form. 3 is just full of alcohol, which is not what you want in a salycilic acid treatment, but that' swhat most of them are---I really like the couple of Paula's choice products I have and like that you can buy samples on her website of most everything on there- kind of cool. anyway- that's my pile-0-stuff!
