Aveda is awesome!  They use alot of essential oils in their fragrances, skin care, and hair care lines.  I've seen their makeup in a salon that carried that line but I never tried any.  Looked pretty though!
I have used their hair products and the shampoo, conditioner, smoothing complex, anti-frizz balm, and hairsprays were all amazing.  The cherry bark & minty-ish one smells the best, imo.

I really love the sage/mint shampoo and conditioner! Trouble is I just can't justify the price of Aveda....maybe someday!

I tried the mint shampoo and conditioner that were provided by a hotel where I stayed. I liked it a lot. They had some moisturizer that was really nice too. I didn't realize it was that expensive.  Bummer

I do like Aveda shampoo. And, if you purchase the large liter sized bottle, you basically get a small bottle free (uses less packaging, so they offer a deal..)and it lasts a long time as it is quite concentrated.

OK_---I had an appointment w/ Laura Mercier artist at Sephora yesterday and that line is on my new list of favs. Very nice products. I purchased the concealer pot, and LOVE it---and I have a sample of the primer that works well.
And their gloss stick---it's lipstick format, but more sheer---color is called cortisane....it's lovely and smells good. And I didn't purchase their gloss, but will in the future as it smelled and tasted so good I really did want to eat it.
She used some lovely colors on me and it was lots of fun---but I purchased concealer and the gloss stick. Love them. smiley

Peppermint shampoo:

Have you ever heard of Dr. Bronner's? It's liquid castile soap (they make a bar too). It's biodegradable. We used to take it with us camping. They make a Peppermint version and it's wonderful. And it's not expensive. Can use it on your hair and body and for all sorts of other uses, outlined on the funky label.

I've seen that stuff, but never tried it. What else do you use it for?
