What brand of hairspray do you all use?  I'm in the market for a new hairspray.  I did use Sebastian Shaper Plus Hairspray, but the formula has changed and it doesn't hold as good as it used to.  I really liked how it provided a good hold but brushed out with little to no residue.

Thanks!

I hadn't purchased Shaper+ in a long time, and just did so a few weeks ago. I thought that maybe my hair had changed so much from preganancies that it just wasn't working for me.  Glad to hear you are experiencing the same thing.

I don't typically use hair spray, but have used Bumble and Bumble spray in the tall pink can, and have liked it.  Great hold, but you can comb it out easily.

They changed the can design, maybe a year ago.  It has gold on it now and not purple writing.  When they changed the design, apparently they changed the formula.  I thought it was different and asked my hair stylist.  She said she didn't know if they changed it to not.  (She's really nice, but not "up" on a lot of things).  I read at makeupalley.com that the formula had changed.  And that solidified my suspensions.  So it's not you, it's the spray.

I'm sad that they changed the formula.  It was a really good hairspray.

I'm a cheap girl!  I use Rave or Suave (MEGA HOLD..It gets humid in FL).  Of course my hair is thin & fine so I think just about anything will hold it.  No brush out residue though!

I'm a Kenra 25 girl (gotta love that Iowa hair giggle).  It's SUPER long holding and drives VERY fast!  I will say there will be no mistake to your hands that you have spray in your hair (and I'm one that likes to know my product is there) but it does not LOOK like you have gobs in your hair.  Nice and shiny too smiley

SInce it is so strong holding, you use very little (I have shoulder length curly hair and a bottle lasts me 2 mos+) and I use NO other styling products (other than gel when it's wet).  Controls frizz too (as much as frizz can be controlled in Iowa humidity :( ).

I get it from my girlfriend who is a hair stylist and she lets me purchase all my hair stuff at cost **I'm blessed**

I use Panten Extra Hold.  I have fine hair is a very humid environment.  It helps some,  my dark hair is almost completely straight and the grey hair is curly.  Go figure.  So I use hot rollers and spray baby spray!
