I wear "Knowing" by Estee Lauder.  I've worn it for years.  Now, my husband doesn't like me to wear anything else because "it doesn't smell like me"  smiley

Light Blue by Dolce and Gabanna- let me say, I get compliments every time I wear this. It is a great summer/day scent- it has a citrus lemon top note, without being fruity in a young/teenie bopper sort of way- but it has a base of some amber to balance it out, and th efloral in it is a light, white floral- mostly it is a citrus type fragrance, but in no way like Velocity. smiley
Anyway, love it-
Also love Armani Code, but it is more of an evening or fall scent for me at least. smiley

I've worn Estee Lauder Private Collection since college (and then I read an article a few years ago in Town and Country about "classic" fragrances that don't sell in quantity but they can never get rid of them because there are a lot of "loyalists"....like Shalimar, Youth Dew, etc....and it was on the list!)  Also, since I am in such a rut, I also wear regular old Lauren (in the red bottle) from college days, too--I guess because it reminds me of the smell of the Kappa house! LOL!  Sometimes I go crazy and spray on a little RL Safari (which is no longer made, BTW).  Hmmm, I haven't worn a fragrance that was developed in this century, what does that say about me????

I'm a serious retro chick when it comes to fragrance.

Actually, I normally just smell like peppermint rosemary lotion.

Too Funny!  My Grandmother wore Youthdew, too!  Its touted as a very "sexy, sensual" fragrance, but since she always wore it, I just can't see it as sexy!

But it is a truly classic fragrance, like Chanel #5.

I'm trying to find a "signature" fragrance for myself.  It's hard, I have so many different perfumes and I wear them at different times.  If I stick with one, I feel like I'm wasting the others I purchased - pretty bad huh?  I'm trying though..

Well, that is your signature then! I always felt I needed to find that one fragrance that just said "me"- but I am a woman of many hats, faces, and, well- styles and even moods, so one fragrance cannot say "me"- I bet one fragrance cannot say "you" either!
Plus, I read that if you always wear the same fragrance, after a while you grow immune to the smell and you won't be enjoying it anyway- wear fragrance for you- people who notice your scent will still associate certain ones w/ you, for example- I might wear basically the same or perhaps 2 light, clean fragrances to work, but at night when I go out w/ my husband, I'm more likely to wear a spicier, richer scent- so I have a different signature scent depending on how I know those people and when I spend time w/ them---:)

anyway, I've decided I like to have different ones to choose from- its getting to be fall now, and its getting to be time to get a richer scent for the cold weather- no more D&G Light Blue until next spring:)smiley

I'm really into Ralph Lauren "Romance"  It's so nice.  I too had thought that I need a "signature" fragrance, and then came to realize that my signature is that I can never really make up my mind (hence my ridiculous dabbling in various "careers").  So, my signature is that you never know what you're going to get.  I wear Clinique "Happy" sometimes, I use a lot of the Bath and Body Works Fragrances - Coconut Lime is awesome for summer...and sometimes I feel the urge to wear "Beautiful" because it reminds me of a woman I really respected growing up.  Fragrance can really define us can't it?

I agree, I'm not very predictable and I like to experience and learn different things all the time. "So, my signature is that you never know what you're going to get"  I really like that statement DD!! I wear on any given day: Romance, Ralph, Georgio, Beautiful, Warm Vanilla Sugar, Sensual Amber, Intuition and White Cherry Blossom.  I had to stop wearing Pleasures because I was getting dive bombed by bees   stunned - seriously.
