UYC - the voice of reason.

I don't use MK because I can't stand to look at it, and I won't willingly support a company that's dedicated to destroying women's lives.
That said, I don't think there is particularly anything wrong with the products, but they're not anything you can't get anywhere else for much less. That's the point in an MLM. Further study of MLM will show you that the products are irrelevant - made just nice enough so they have the appearance of saleability and the claims are overrated by far about product performance, and they are overpriced. All hallmarks of any MLM. Before I get off on another "why MLM is evil" tangent...
While in MK for 5 years, I only used MK stuff, like a good little kaybot. It worked fine until I got pregnant. Crazy skin ensued and no combination of MK would work. I secretly purchased Proactiv, which I've been using every since (though I'm out of the proactiv closet now

). It can be drying, so I make sure I have a good moisturizer.
I threw out everything I had of MK except 2 or 3 lipsticks and an eyeliner. It's like going to the candy store - Target, Wal-Mart, Walgreens... ahhh... the colors, the selection! I could go wild. So far, I like Aveeno's stuff quite a bit - especially the positively radiant moisturizer, and I just got a new night cream from them. Oil of Olay sensitive skin is good, too.
Also, and you can check this out with dermatologists, anti-aging stuff is usually bunk. Alpha-hydroxy acids are the only thing that will "anti-age" you as they essentially peel off the top layer of skin. Other stuff, won't do anything to get rid of wrinkles or any other age-related damage to skin. Sunscreen is all that will prevent sun effects of aging (which are most of what ages your skin) - and sun damage takes 30 years to accumulate and present damage, so even if you protect now, you can still wake up and look old one day because you didn't protect your skin 30 years beforehand. Dermatologic procedures can help - like peels and whatnot.
Also, check out
www.consumerreports.org. They have done stories on anti-aging products and rated them, basically exposing what I just said - it's all bunk to get you to pay a fortune.
And ditto everything UYC said.
