I said this too...  I also said that people should use the same brand for everything -- no mixing and matching...  GROAN!!

 moon moon moon moon moon

What TUP,
You didn't want people to create "chemical warfare" on their faces?  rofl  (yep, I'm guilty on that one too groan )

I think we had to have the same NSD or related one -because I actually was at an event and heard her say those exact words!

No NSD for me, I was in the Go-Give area.  Just goes to show how those MKisms are everywhere!  Wonder if they're penetrated China yet?  rofl

I don't know if anyone else has said this yet or not - but there was a director at our training center who always said she wouldn't break up sets, you had to buy the whole thing because "she couldn't advocate performing a science experiment on your face"   I, of course just smiled and nodded at my guests... Yup.  I was actually trained not to break up a set for the first time buyer.  "The products are designed to work best together, if you only get one you won't be satisfied with the results."  Sick What was I thinking?!

The ONLY set I think that is true about is Microdermabrasion... but I still had a recruit buy just the step 1 and wonder why her face was falling off.  Oh well, I told her so.

DD, I got that from my director too - our entire area actually. We actually did a hand test to show that the products worked better when used together, but I did the same test with some other products (cleansers, moistuizers) that I had and the results were the same. Why did I believe that crap??!

Mine didn't say science experiment, just said they MUST be used together.  As a young  Kaybot I actually turned down quite a few sales for individual miracle set items...   splat splat splat

Okay, I was an idiot.  I trusted her -- she had been in scary kay for 17 years and I knew NOTHING about makeup or skin care.  I'll do it again...   splat splat splat

Glad that is over.  I am mixing and matching like crazy and loving it...   giggle

I did the same thing! And then I would reuse the packaging for something else. . . rather than pay for them as Section 2 items. giggle

Yeah, he chuckles without changing his facial expression. He sounds like Scarface or something, with a evil little chuckle under his breath...

rofl I did the same thing.  I quit  buying section 2 products and used the section 1, so I did not have to deal with samples and continually being over run with them.  I used the bags all year round for gifts, by lining them with tissue paper. It was great wrapping paper and I could do double duty with them......

Did anyone ever get told about the horrifying "eyelash mites" that will make their home in your eyelashes if you don't use Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover EVERY NIGHT?!?!?!   groan  Yep, that was the words of wisdom from my ex-director.
