Anybody got any thoughts on the Sunless tanning lotion?  Work as well as other brands/worse, etc.?

I don't like it.  I can't say it doesn't work; it just doesn't fit me and my tastes.  There's only one color option so I had to dilute mine with body lotion to get started.  This means a lot of guess and check blending. I did end up with streaks a couple times :teehee:    It also smells awful, in my opinion, and leaves me more 'sticky' than other brands, too.

I haven't used too many others, because I've had more time to take afternoon trips to the lake.  However, I do recall trying Jergens body lotion/self tanner when it came out.  It worked well for me but had it's perfumy scent which tickled my nose.  Finished the bottle and will remember the product worked while I continue my search.  I want to try one of the spray on formulas next. My mom didn't like the Mk tanner either.  She uses Neutrogena's body lotion/self tanner, I think...

Hawaiian Tropic's Instant Island Bronze is nice (if you need quick color), and their Island Glow is really nice. These are the ones blended with moisturizers. HTs smell nice (not perfumey) and dry fast, no streaks. According to Consumer Reports, the L'Oreal tanner w/moisturizer is the best one for color and appearance. I don't know how it smells though.

I didn't like Jergen's either. The face tanner didn't actually tan my face, and the perfumey smell reminds me of Mary Kay perfumes, which gag me.

The Mary Kay one is crap compared to what you can get anywhere else - and I'm not just saying that because I hate MK. I used to use it, when I was a faithful little MK doggy. Took forever to dry. Smelled bad. Too dark and orange for me. Streaks. Stained my clothes AND my bath mat, which still has a faint stain from it (years later). Every time I see the stain, I think "stupid MK tanner!" I'm just too cheap to get another mat - it's a really nice one.

I didn't have much luck with it, but have several customers who swear that it is better than anything else out there.  I can't take the smell. :gah:
