UHHHH..........I think P1nkCaddy said it best in our chatty chat this weekend.........when referring to what the "real" pictures of NSD's look like.........

Makes ya wonder what's in the TimeWise stuff.........it's like it's corroding their skin *giggle*  ---- uhh.... I quickly dashed to wash the drek off my face :(

If you want the pictures of the "after and after" shots that P1nkCaddy sent me, just e-mail me at sicknpink@hotmail.com w/pictures of the NSD's in the subject line smiley

Yes, they are AFTER and AFTER (airbrushed) shots.......cuz I'm sure the "before" shots would be illegal --- you know "indecent exposure" giggle

All i've been able to figure out as the use for the beads in TW is to show if you've rinsed well enough - ie, if you find them on your face while puttin on the moisturizer, you didn't do a good enough job.

as for the night solution - it may break the beads and dispense "fresh" whatever each time, but what about all that is still in the pump from the last time? unless you are squirting a whole pump down the drain each time - you still got the old stuff from yesterday!

never really got the hang of day/night solution
too many steps and i don't have time to pee most days let alone do all that stuff!

My skin looks much better now that I'm using some Glycolic products, and some salycilic, and some decent moisturizer with tons of anioxidants and spf, plus minerals instead of liquid--- my skin looks airbrushed and like I don't have on as much makeup anymore-- much more natural. I think I actually look younger!

I also found that the beads in Timewise do not exfoliate at all.  All Timewise did for me was irritate my face to no end.
I am also using mineral foundation from Beauty Bliss and I LOVE IT!!!!  My Mom said the other day that my skin looks better than it has in a long time.  My face looks natural and my makeup doesn't melt in the heat.  When I was in MK I was at my child's field day one time and by the end of it, I was shocked/embarrassed at how my face looked.  My makeup had melted and was literally running off of my face.  I looked horrible.  I would have looked so much better if I had not put on MK that day.  I also love products with salycilic acid in them.  They seem to keep my acne under control.  It is great to venture out into the world of cosmetics outside of MK, because MK is so behind the times.  If they are so "on trend" then where is the mineral foundation?  If they ever do come out with it--it will probably be 5-10 years away.  On trend my hide.

I totally agree about those beads (that use to be blue/green and are now pink/purple). I would use a wash cloth in the shower ontop of my timewise! Oh, and I would use the microdermabrasion to "scrub" too.

My dermatologist said that, for people with acne, using ANYTHING to SCRUB your skin is bad. The best way to exfoliate is with a chemical exfoliant. I use murad, and their exfoliater is an acid/get/tropical step. I can tell a difference in my skin....but it is hard to resist the urge to scrub away in the shower! I am trying to give the chemical some time and see how it does in the long run (only been using it for a couple of months).

She said that the wash cloth can hold many germs, and can actually scratch your skin, irritating it more, and causing more breakouts. Also, for people with sensitive skin, the laundry detergent or fabric softener can irritate your skin, causing dermatitis (red, bumpy skin). I was floored.  faint

Just wanted to share that.

So very true...I used to work for Aveda (I know, Aveda to MK? What was I thinking?)...they also make a chemical (salycilic acid) exfoliator that is awesome. Much more gentle and makes your skin glow...really though, no lie!  smiley
