I thought about this oldie but goodie the other day while vacuuming.
I heard lots of NSDs telling consultants that one of the first things they needed to do if they were serious about growing their business was to hire a housekeeper. They said consultants didn't need to be distracted by taking care of the house when they needed to focus on MK.
This brings up a whole host of questions, not to mention

1. If you're doing MK for the extra money, you probably don't have the money for a housekeeper or it could be used for better things
2. I thought one of the major benefits of MK was that you could work from home and have MORE time for your family and life, not less.
3. If you don't have time to scrub your toilet, you probably don't have time to make dinner either, so you're going to need someone to do this as well.
Oh...and when you DO hire that housekeeper, you're supposed to share the "opportunity" with her. Suddenly, she's in MK...and you're looking for another housekeeper again.
As a side note, a friend of mine was a housekeeper and my director recruited her. She became a director herself, went into massive debt, and left MK. She longed for being a housekeeper when she was a director because she had little to no debt plus she got paid every time she went out to work.
