I mentioned on another thread that I knew of a website where discontinued products can be bought or traded.  I have had several PMs about it, so decided to just post on here.

The site is www.donnabayes.com  It is password protected.  I am going out on a limb by posting the password here because I trust that those on this board will not abuse her site and her communication with consultants.  Donna is a wonderful lady and is very go-give in that she allows everyone to access the information and services she has.  The company has required her to password the site--it did not used to be so.  Please honor this.  The password is milliondollardynasty.

When you get to the home page, look across the top and you will see several choices.  Click on "Classic Product Exchange".  When that screen comes up, there are two choices.  One is for product you are looking for, the other is for product you have that you want to move.  Choose the second one.  Click on "Sign the Guestbook" and then a form-type thing comes up that you fill out and then you can list what you have.  This part of the site is only used for product no longer available from the company--nothing that is in the current line.  Try to make it easy to read.  Sort by type.  The easier it is to read quickly, the better results you will have.

You may get some emails about this right off the bat, or it may be a little while.  After two or three weeks, post an updated list so yours will always be near the most recent ones.

Also, check on the "Items you are looking for" and there is a comment there where the woman is looking for lipstick holders for the purse from several years ago.  The member I responded to on the other thread mentioned she had the double lipstick holders, so I would suggest that you email her and ask her if what she is looking for is the double holder.  I know it's not the lip trio case, so I figure it must be the double one.  You might get rid of those very quickly.  Also scan through and see if you have what others are looking for.

Good luck!

Realistic,

Is Donna OK with people who have left the company participating on her classic items trade board?  I guess I'm asking, does "everyone" mean *everyone*, since if you're not longer in, you no longer have a director?

Okay, I have to vent really quickly here; I traded product for some Journey items with a lady on Donna's website. I didn't open it when it arrived assuming it was unused like the products I sent her. I recently traded it with a sweet girl here on PL and found out one of the bottles is scuffed AND the product appears to be used!  bleepme

I'm very upset mad2 (and embarassed :faint:) that this happened.

PLEASE, check your products when you receive them in your trades! I'll definitely be more watchful now that this has happened!

I have also just recently receive some damaged products (4 items, from 2 different ladies) at this website... apparently they do not care what they are sending out!!  Be careful and ask alot of questions before you trade or purchase from here!!

I have done MANY purchases and trades on there and only had one problem which the lady QUICKLY fixed.
Yes - always ask LOTS of questions - date codes, condition of boxes, etc.

I always leave the director name empty and if they ask, I'm inactive right now which I am.

Also - if you get bad product and they don't respond correctly - let Donna know and you can even post a BAD trader note on there - I would to warn others! They would think again about sending out crap then if they knew their name was going to get posted.

PLEASE...

If you received old, used or damaged product in trade, notify the person you traded with and give them the opportunity to correct the situation.

Although nothing will ever be done, what these bad traders are committing is mail fraud.

If they don't, then by all means, LEAVE BAD FEEDBACK so that others will know. This will discourage this practice in general. However, in my years watching these types of trades on various boards, there are always one or two bad apples.

But that's what the feedback system is for.

Thanks monicag and Sassy2724. I should have read a little closer. When monicag said she had received damaged products "at this website" I should have realized she was talking about the website that this thread is about, not PLH.
