I love college football but my dh doesn't like it so I've reformatted myself...  I once had a boyfriend who was a rabid Gator fan. *sniffle* He left me for the Gators...  (actually there was more to the story than that but I used to tease him about it.) All these years later, I'm still interested--in the Gators. Try explaining THAT to dh!!!! Especially since the only connection *I* have to UF is this old boyfriend...  Doesn't help, though that UF's football coach used to be the University of Utah's football coach so I "get" to hear about UF all the time I was a rabid BYU football fan when LaVell Edwards was coaching. Even when my alma mater, USU, played them, I'd root for BYU. I loved going to USU football games when we lived in Logan, but like I said, DH doesn't do football. Atlanta Braves Baseball, yes. Utah Jazz basketball, yes... Foot ball? NO WAY. |

**begging for ren's humble forgiveness** The last time I watched a superbowl... the PATS were playing someone...(Ren? Greenbay?) I was in a Chi-Chis restaraunt (no longer in business) and I was the ONLY patron in the place rooting for the PATS!!! This was many more years ago than I care to admit. |

I sat with my DH and my brother on Saturday, drank a Sam Adams Light and wore my #18 jersey while I watched Peyton lead the Colts over the Chiefs! Woohoo! I like seeing Peyton do well, although I wouldn't be upset if LT and the Chargers made it to the Super Bowl for the AFC. However, all bets are off if my fave team makes it - da Bears! I wish there was a Chris Farley icon on here that would dance while I sang, "Da Bears, da Bears, da Bears, da Bears." My DH and I plan on grilling some brats tonight and watching the BCS championship tonight - go Buckeyes! |
