Awaken, I'm so sorry to hear that you're in a bad emotional state.

But, look what you've already done:
1) Found this forum and realized the value of sharing your experience.
2) Make the decision to return inventory.
3) Talked about your debt and seen that you are soooo not alone in that boat.
4) Remembered your previous sucess with ebay (yay!).

I'd say you're on a definite positive roll  clap  Keep it going. dance

I don't mean to sound preachy, just sometimes we don't realize all the good stuff we're doing while we're doing it.  smiley

smiley Thanks so much for the support & the advice! It really helps especially knowing that i'm not alone in this.

I just returned my inventory last week. Took me real long to package them for shipping & calculations. I used all of the postage available stamps I found in my house just to save money for paying for postage. I looked like an idiot at the postoffice sticking a large bunch of stamps one by one on the boxes. LOL!! giggle

I don't think there's any 0% interest credit cards in canada. There may be some lower rate ones, but i'll have to check & compare. & i think it'll be hard to apply for a new credit card since i have no income right now & probably have pretty bad credit already. But it won't hurt to try. I might have to lie about my income on the application. hehe

it's really easy to feel depressed about all this still. But after finding this message board & the websites about people's mk experiences, it's easier for me to realize that i will get out of this eventually & life will be great again when i do get out of debt. I seriously don't have any contact w/ any of the people i met through mk. i just stopped showing up at unit meetings & events & it's a bit surprising that i never even got a single phone call from any of them, not even my recruitor or upper directors.

Awaken, try calling your credit card company. Alot of times they will work with you. Debt is something we all live thru at one time or another. Thats how we learn not to be in it! I have never met anyone who didnt make mistakes along the way and learn.

Justpinkenough, I too love Dave Ramsey.  My hubby and I are using his plan right now but have run into a problem, maybe you will have an idea.  We understand the whole snowball thing but we have two 0% cards and an 8% card.  There is about 3,000 on the 8% and 3,000 on one of the 0%s.  Then on the other 0% we have about 300.  To snowball we would need to start with the 300 but it makes more sense to us to start with the one that has a % rate.  Correct?  The others don't turn over to a percentage for awhile.  Anyway I'd love to hear your  twocents

I'm thinking of all of you here.  I had about $25,000 in cc debt from mk and all the related junk that goes with it.   Telling my dear sweet man was the hardest thing I've ever done.  My story is on www.pinktruth. under the name Lorainne.  I think we have about 7000 left of the cc debt.  It has been hard but I know we'll be okay.

I too sold everything pink or mk that I could find hiding in closets and out in the dust.  It is amazing what will sell and how much it will sell for!  CRAZY!  I've even gone to yard sales and bought things for a couple dollars that I know was a mk prize and have sold it on ebay and made some extra money that way.

Ahh, live and learn.
