Ruby Seminar NSD: PF :nuke: guess you can tell how I feel about her even after almost 10 years of being out of MK.  SD:KL, really she wasn't too bad, but don't think she had her teams best interests at heart

I signed my first contract in 1996 --- then went inactive about 6 years later after that particular conversation with she-devil.  I sat out one year and re-signed under a new director and just passed my 4-year anniversary.

But, I found several of these forums (this one is my fav!!!) about one month ago --- and these forums are what put the nails in the coffin for me.

I've been trying to tell myself all these years that there is a way to do this job successfully and with integrity; and I was out to prove that, if only to myself.  I feel this is a losing battle.

I have never seen so much compassion and similar stories as I have here.  Everytime I would talk about the she-devil, people would actually get aggravated with me and just tell me to move on.  she isn't worth the trouble it takes to utter her name.  But I think most of us here understand that it isn't so easy to just let go and forget about it.  People just don't understand that, unless they've been through it.

Sorry for the novelette.  If you traipse over to Pinkingshears, you can read my "I" story over there and some of the despicable things she-devil said/did to me.  I use the same name over there.

pinkylee, I really identify with you story. I started in MK about the same time you did. I also waited out a year in order to sign up with who I thought was a better director. Unfortunately, it was the same old, same old. So now I have quit. I stopped ordering one year ago so I am now officially inactive. Like you I just kept trying to make it work but I am done with it now!

Thank you again for your kindness!

I guess I did something wrong because my reply to pinkylee disappeared. So here it is:

I identify with you, pinkylee. I signed up at around the same time you did, and I also waited out a whole year to try and get a better director. Also like you I kept trying to beat a dead horse, to make this career work for me. I am done with that officially now. I am glad to hear of someone else who kept at it for as long as I did and finally woke up like I did.

In reply to MrsTGraham and Through With MK, I had MJD as an adopted director for a couple of years. I attended a few of KIs trainings. One of my very good friends was an offspring of MJs for a couple of years until she got smart and decided to step down to stop the financial bleeding. I would welcome chatting with either of you about MJ!

As for my actual unit I was in the Pearl division. When I signed up with my first Director, RM the NSD was just retiring with huge retirement pay, I forget her last name so I won't post her initials but her daughter took over her area and her initials are EF. When I changed Directors my National was still EF but then became the LC area.

When were you adopted by MJD? I wonder if it was when I was in DIQ for her?
