We are buying our first home, and while the budget looks good, I am a worry wart, so I need to get a job (even if the mortgage/budget turns out peachy, we will still need the extra money for the home repairs). I have been applying, but few bites. I see that the prayers here work since so many PLH-ers are getting jobs, so I want some of that mojo! Thanks ya'll.... :shpwrk:

I will definitely be praying for you, SSW, and sending some mojo your way!  :teehee:  And don't get discouraged if you don't find something right away.  It took me over 3 months of constant searching before I found an opportunity that suited me and my abilities.  Although it was very stressful at times, I am so glad I didn't settle because the job I just accepted is perfect for me.  I know you'll find your perfect job too- good luck!

Please don't EVER say you hate asking for help or for prayers.  As the Good Lord knows, I'm asking Him for help every single day!!

And the Countess is correct -- nothing is too big for God.  Sometimes we feel that our problems are trivial compared to others in the world, but that is SO not true!  A problem is a problem -- no matter how big or how small.  You let your worries and fears fall onto our shoulders, and we will bring you before God's throne and lift you up before Him.  Please let us know how the job search is going.
