Janet-
You and your family are definitely in my prayers!  Let people help you.  I have a dear friend that was in your shoes about 2 yrs. ago.  Her cancer was very aggressive, and was also in the lymph nodes and 80% of her breasts.  She is doing great today.  We had a day a week club, where we chose a day and on our particular day (mine was Saturday), we would call, email, leave a surprise on her porch, whatever we felt would be encouraging.  We also supplied meals for almost a yr. for their family ( not just myself, but our Church, girl scout friends, different people she knew.)  If you have a super organized friend- let them organize some meals, friends to do fun things with your kids when you are too tired, make grocery runs for you....
We also wrote out some scriptures on index cards for my friend to keep with her for when she needed to have God's word right there.
Be strong and courageous.
You are in my prayers

An abundance of love and prayers are being sent your way!!  Please keep us posted as your treatment progresses.  I'm going to sign up on your Care Pages log.

Those Care Pages are wonderful.  There's a little girl in my hometown who fought leukemia 2 years ago, and her mother continues to keep everyone apprised of how she's doing.  She's doing very well.

You seem like a strong person.  I know you will beat this!!!

I'm sorry I'm chiming in late, but know you're in my prayers Janet!! I pray that the doctors have wisdom to make the right decisions for your care, and that your family and friends find the strength and comfort to see you through this rough time.  If I can help in any way, let me know.  :loveshwr:

You ladies are so wonderful. I see my oncologist today. The CT scan came back clean (just the breast & lymph that we already knew about) and I'm waiting on the results for the bone scan. I think chemo starts today. My kids all have the flu, and I'm on Tamiflu to keep from getting it, so hopefully, I can get started. I'm ready to kick this thing in the butt.  :rub:

Love to all!!

Whoa, I'm floored - I'm just reading this for the 1st time and I've got to hand it to you - your positive spirit is amazing!  That makes all the difference.  You've stepped up to and conquered other challenges - you can do this!  You, your family and your medical team are all in my family's prayers.  Rest, heal, ask for help, and let others help.  If there is anything I can do don't hesitate to ask.    :hearts
