with breast cancer. I've been MIA around here for awhile, I've had test upon test and finally got the results. I have both ductal and lobular cancer, and it has spread to my lymph nodes. So far, we haven't found it anywhere else, but I'm still waiting for a couple of results. Please pray for my doctors, for my family (I have 3 young children and 1 wonderful husband), and for me as I undergo 4 months of chemo, followed by a double mastectomy and radiation. Oh no - I felt sick too when I read that. MKMW - is it in all the lymph nodes? Because I have a family friend who had to have some of her lymph nodes removed in her arm (she's a survivor!! It's been YEARS since this happened) - she has to wear a pressure sleeve on her arm. But whatever the case may be, I'll pray hard for your complete recovery and victory over this illness, and for your little ones. Fight HARD Janet!!!  we'll be right here for you!! |

Prayers for you and your family and sending positive thoughts your way! You can beat this terrible disease. We will all be here cheering you on to a total cure!   This is what the chemo and radiation will do to your cancer cells  Praying for your doctors and your treatment plan, also. |

I figure that if I can get my black belt in TKD, teach 32 students in that, 22 piano students, and still homeschool my own children, I probably have the strength to get through this. So far, the cancer is in at least 3 lymph nodes under my right arm. The right breast is basically just filled with cancer cells everywhere. I have a benign tumor in the left breast, but because of the likelihood of it recurring, we are getting it all from the start.
I have already had a total hysterectomy, so there's nothing there to worry about, and my doctor is very optimistic that we will cure this. I have an 80% chance at 10 year survival, and those are good odds. My doctor will be removing most, if not all, of the underarm lymph nodes on the right.
Thanks so much - you ladies mean so much to me. You've been here as I healed from my pink illness, (aka MK Fever) and now I know you'll be here for me as I recover from the tough stuff.
