:hearts MKMW, you truly are an inspiration to us! I'm glad you have someone to go through this with (sorry you both have to go through this......but), none of us can really understand what you are going through unless we've been there!

Lots of love and prayers to you both MKMW.

Take care.  Love Love Love

with breast cancer. I've been MIA around here for awhile, I've had test upon test and finally got the results. I have both ductal and lobular cancer, and it has spread to my lymph nodes. So far, we haven't found it anywhere else, but I'm still waiting for a couple of results. Please pray for my doctors, for my family (I have 3 young children and 1 wonderful husband), and for me as I undergo 4 months of chemo, followed by a double mastectomy and radiation. I would appreciate your prayers. I have a Care Page set up - go to the carepage website and enter JanetFittsJourneyofFaith

I miss you gals!! Hopefully, I can be around here more frequently now!

MKMW

I was told in 2000 that my husband may have 4 months to live...they didn't know what he had.  Turned out it was a rare form of lymphomia.

Anyway, through a lot of prayers, stubborness, and jelly beans  :chocdnce: it was put in remission.

You have some many positive things in your life to keep you going and a wonderful outlook!  I'll try to remember to say a prayer for you when I log into "Lighthouse".

What is the Care Page that you have set up?  Is it in this website or somewhere else.  Still learning my way around!

My heart was lifted up when I read all the wonderful comments here..stay in touch.  These ladies will lift you up when you are down!
My husband's advice is always to eat jelly beans to help with the chemo side effects.  I don't know if its psychological or what, but he gives them away to people going through chemo.   :laugh3:

Hugs to you and your wonderful family!   Love

Thanks so much ladies!!! TUP - I'll be praying for your MIL. Thankfully, it sounds like a short bump in the road. I pray she's on her way to recovery soon!!

I'm still hanging in here - just tired. Really tired. Family junk is stressing me out (my parents and one of my sisters want to visit) and I've had a cold for 3 weeks that doesn't want to go away. I have my 5th round of chemo tomorrow, it's a new "recipe" and I don't know what to expect.

I did have an appointment with the dietitian who gave me great advice to deal with eating/chemo/nausea/diarrhea/diabetes. I feel good about that part of my daily status! Now, if I could just find that blessed cork to use when having diarrhea..................... Sick

You all make me feel so good. I greatly appreciate your support and prayers!!!!
Love you all!!!!

:hearts  So good to hear from you mkmyway!   :hearts  I think of you every time I visit here, which is mostly every day.  God grant you strength, perserverence, and healing!  Hang in there, this too shall pass.  You're an awesome woman and an inspiration.   Love Love Love

Honesty and transparency are virtues to be treasured - don't hide your beliefs in the name of tolerance, be honest about where you stand, just do it with love. smiley
