On Saturday, I noticed 3 lumps behind my left ear that hurt really bad when touched. I woke up Sunday, they were still there and I had a new one on my neck, below my ear. Today, I developed several more in my neck and I feel like I got hit in the head with a baseball bat. I have a Dr. appt Thursday and Im super nervous because my dentist, who is also a facial and cranial pain specialist, said it was my lymph nodes and that I needed to get it checked out right away. My Aunt died from non-hodgkins lymphoma and Im trying not to panic So, can I get a hug?  |

Oh my SG, i sure hope things turn out ok. It sucks that you couldnt get into the doctor sooner. Hopefully, whatever it is, they will be able to figure it out and fix it. I am not much for contemporary medicine or doctors as they always try to relieve the symptoms not the problem, so just make sure to ask a lot of questions and go over ALL the treatment plans to get rid of the CAUSE. I went to the Dr today and it didnt help my panic at all. I have a mass at the base of the back of my skull, several all throughout my scalp, several in my neck and more were found trailing down my shoulder into the front of my chest. She put me on some really strong anti biotics today, and on Monday I have to have a full blood workup done. Shes testing me for mono, TB and shes doing a lymphoma screening. Shes testing my liver and kidneys too, because when I bend over, it feels like there is something in my stomach, pushing and making me uncomfortable. Today was not a good day. I had a panic attack at the Dr when she found all those additional masses and I have been crying off and on tonight. I have such a bad headache I can barely see straight. All I keep thinking is that if I am sick, I may not see my niece grow up. Shes almost 19th months old and I love her like shes my own. Im so scared and I hate this waiting crap. Thankyou all for the prayers and for being there for me. It really means alot  |
