Hi ladies: I have a job interview tomorrow, and I could use some prayers!!  I didn't think I would be back in the job hunt so soon, but it is necessary, and this one looks promising. So Tuesday at noon MST I will have my best face on! (and it will be scary kay free)  |

So....it's 12:19pm MST. You got there a little early, not too much. You had to wait ummm 5 minutes, because they were eager to talk to you but couldn't appear too eager. You are presently in the office being interviewed by, not one, not two, but three people. You however, are calm, cool and collected. You know your stuff. You are a passionate activist for good. They see this. They also see that you possess extraordinary grace, you're cool under fire, your knowledge of different personalities and how to work with them is phenomenal. They love the way you interject just the right amount of humor in your rundown of your experience. The can see that you have a vision and the skills to implement that vision.
They tell you that they have to talk to one more candidate and they will get back with you no later than tomorrow. Whatever, they'll wait because they have to....but they want you girl.
So....there's my thought going out to you as you are being interviewed.
Knock there little ole socks off.

Dayum, Carol, were you there?? You totally nailed it! Even had three people to interview me... It went really well, and they have already called for a second interview... And I got three other responses from resumes I sent out wanting to interview me next week. Whew! The place yesterday may not be the right fit, but I will do the second interview and see... Thanks again for all your prayers and well wishes... You ladies make me feel great! |

Well interviews are for you also not just the employer. You want to impress them but you also want make sure that it is the right place for you. If aren't at the point were you just need "a job" then don't settle. Looks like you may end up having several offers to consider.
