I'm glad it went well. Definitely go with your gut on this. The right fit will appear and I believe it's extremely important to be happy with your job. Why spend a third of your waking life being unhappy. Life's too short.

Thanks, ladies!! All your thoughts, prayers and well wishes worked -- I got a job!!
I am the new Program Coordinator for Meals on Wheels in my state... I start on Monday! It is 30 hours per week which will allow me to pursue my Mater's degree.
Thanks again, it has been quite an experience!

Congratulations that sounds like a wonderful job and for such a worthy cause! It certainly is a blessing to be able to work 30 hrs a week and continue your education. I admire you so much.

Thanks, ladies! It is kinda weird to log on and see my real picture!!  My hair is much shorter now -- I just went with the shortish bob that gets longer towards your face -- think Jenny McCarthy's new hair... I love it -- so much easier in all this wind... And I am now a PRO at resumes! I must have redone mine at least TWENTY times, and now that it is the way I want it, I don't need it! But the process gave me some great ideas, and I am helping a couple of friends update theirs... |
