 Love

Please pray with me for my Coworker Mark and his family. His wife has just been diagnosed with a terminal illness and she only has a short time left.  He has had a very hard time coping and trying work out how to tell their four year old son what's wrong with mommy. He doesn't know what he going to tell him when she's gone.

Please pray for them  Love

My prayers will be added to the many I am sure will be going out for this family!  Maybe you can suggest to your friend that they create a video diary for their son so that he will have something besides pictures of his mom.  I'm sorry, I know this might not be the time to bring that up, but every minute they have is precious!!!

Great idea Jypsi.  A video diary would give the mom a chance to tell him many of the things she would tell him as he grew up.  I read somewhere about a dad that was dying and he made a video topic library for his daughter.  One for when she started noticing boys, one for dating and another for engagement and wedding day.  Needless to say the story made me cry, but I thought what a wonderful gift of love.  The girl never had to say "I wonder what dad would have said about...." of wonder what he thought of her or what his voice sounded like.

Yeah...I lost my dad when I was 22 and I STILL have problems remembering what his voice sounds like.  I would give anything to have something like that.

Jypsi that's great idea, I will suggest the video diary to Mark and his wife... I am putting a small package together for them I think I'll include a video camera.
