I usually don't ask for prayers from people I don't know...I'm not sure why I feel that's so difficult, but there you are. I guess that most of my "issues"  seem insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but right now I'm sooooo over that silliness and I am unabashedly going to ask for your prayers. I have told some of you that my doctors found a 7cm ovarian cyst that looks "suspicious". Anyway, the long and short of it is that I am going to have my ovary removed, maybe more if the biopsy reveals anything while I'm on the table. Specifically, I need prayers for peace of mind, calm spirit (not FREAKING OUT like I feel right now  ) and that my family will also feel a sense of peace. I am ready to accept what comes my way, and I'd rather not speculate about what it might be. So there ya go. I'll let you guys know when all this goes down. Thanks so much for your prayers.  |

7 cm...OUCH! Mine wasn't quite that big but I have been where you are. I had 2 in one side and 1 3.4cm in another. They were all solid and had to be removed. It really isn't that bad except for the emotions that are involved. For me the pain of having them was worse then the surgery and the pain that followed. Thanks so much, all. PGMG, it's strange, I'm not really having any pain, just a dull ache in my lower back, so I'm grateful for that! I am just super weepy all the time now like I'm pregnant...and we KNOW that's not a possibility. I'll know on Tuesday when the surgery will be, and my mom and dad are coming up all the way from Florida!  So at least the laundry will get done while I'm out!  Thanks again! |

I'm so glad your not having a lot of pain! I'm kind of a whimp when it comes to pain  Ok i'm a big, super hugh whimp. There I said it. The surgery wasn't that bad and you get to lay around and goof off for a few days. I tried to go back to work to soon so remember to take it easy and take your time healing. Glad your parents are comming to be with you. I don't know about you but I wanted my mom. Anyway, let us know when it will be so we can all be praying extra that day and when your feeling better please let us all know how your doing. Love and Prayers PGMG |
